About Me

My Story

I am a first-year BA (Hons) Sports Journalism student at the University of South Wales with a strong interest in multiple sports, including football, rugby, and darts. I have developed experience across match reporting, feature writing, and producing content across multiple platforms.

Alongside my studies, I have gained practical experience covering live sporting events, including Cardiff City's League One fixtures at the Cardiff City Stadium and Welsh rugby internationals at the Principality Stadium. I have also covered professional darts, live from the Utilita Arena in Cardiff, for Night 5 of the Premier League of Darts. Throughout these experiences through USW, I have produced match reports, previews, and post-match content for their dedicated Sports Journalism website.

I have regularly attended pre-match and post-match press conferences, where I have asked questions to managers and players, helping to build my confidence in a professional media environment and develop my ability to identify and pursue key angles.

Throughout these varied experiences, I have written and contributed a range of written pieces from match reports, previews, opinion pieces, features, pre & post-match content. I have also produced graphics such as the starting line-up, full-time result, and fixture list for my local rugby team, Deri RFC, as part of my work as a media assistant.
